Hiking

The Catskill Mountains boasts 35 peaks with heights greater than 3500 ft in elevation. There are dozens of marked, maintained hiking trails open to the public on Forest Preserve Lands. Famous trails include Big Indian Slide Mountain, Balsam Lake Mountain, Pakatakan Mountain, Dry Brook Trail, Wittenberg-Cornell, Lost Cove, Panther, Fox Hollow, Giant Ledge, Woodland Valley and more. Fishing

There are a wide variety of fishing opportunities in our area. The Catskills offers some of the best streams for Fly-fishing. Fish the Esopus, the East branch of the Delaware River, the famous Beaverkill, Willowemoc or the Pepacton Reservoir in the town of Andes.
